Years ago I saw an activist — a “community organizer” — who confronted someone for their racist attitude. The victim of the assault defended himself and said that he wasn’t racist in any way. He tried to be colorblind and see absolutely no difference between the races.
“Aha!” shouted the activist, “That’s a racist attitude right there! You see, I celebrate black culture. I recognize that it’s different. It’s vibrant. It’s not like your white culture. Your refusal to recognize the specialness of black culture, your expectation of a colorblind society, is what marks you out as a racist!”
In my opinion, this is the heart of the current race problem in America. And make no mistake: Obama is part of the problem. He is totally incapable of solving the race problem, because he has the personality of a divider.
